Is it okay to do this?

I put in some fuchsia streaks (in my hair) a few months ago, but it's faded to a nasty reddish color. If I bleach my hair, will it be taken out too? My natural color that I dyed over is medium to dark brown. Also, how long do I have to wait before I can put in more color? Is it okay to use Special Effects Atomic Pink within a few days of bleaching my hair or at least before my roots start showing? Any help, suggestions, etc. will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Bleach will strip every ounce of pigment out of your hair. I use it often....Uncoloring products are one of the items as I hate the most. Unless you like bright orange hair......





Once again: Loreal Color Gems and its developer at sally's...I would stick with a natural color thats 1-2 levels above desired results...





Its a no damage, no ammonia, demi permant safe method of color correction...

Reply:the special effects is terrible on bleached hair U will see it breakin off and lookin bad in about 2 weeks. semi perm color u will find will last longer and wont damage hair

Reply:I've only gotten my hair bleached once and I didn't dye it for another 3 weeks. But this might help: A dear friend of mine had her hair bleached and AT the place where she had gotten her hair done, they dyed her hair right after. Same with my sister at one point when she got bleached highlights. While at the salon, they also dyed it blue. Now, I'm not positive that the bleach will take out the "nasty reddish color" but I'm assuming it will. I'm getting my hair done on Wednesday and trust me, my hair is a very similar nasty reddish (and orangish) color! I'm praying that it'll be taken out.
