I need wedding centerpiece help!!!!?

Bridesmaids are wearing fuchsia or David's bridal Azalea. A rich purple is the 2nd color. Need ideas for centerpieces other than standard floral arrangements

I need wedding centerpiece help!!!!?
we have purple hydrageas in a vase but to make it a lil different we have purple water lights at the bottom of the vase makeing the water glow purple with some shiny stones in there etc, looks really nice.
Reply:Ive seen a couple of easy and cute ideas...

Tall candles (pick colors from their dresses)

floating candles and rose petals (usually a few bucks at the florist) in a wide dishes. michaels or ac moore sell the dishes/bowls.

If its a beach theme - bowls with sand, shells, or starfish and sand dollars

Pictures of you and your husband to be from the different places youve been together (mention where its from and when)

If you have a song(s) you can print them on funky earthy grained paper (PaperSource) in a beautiful font and wrap with green wire onto bamboo.

Hope these ideas help.
Reply:You can always do candles in hurricane vases (cylinder shaped) and if you want to add color you can add sand, pebbles, glass beads, crystals, tumbled glass, ribbon, or flowers to the bottom and that will keep costs down if thats a concern. For some visual interest you can do a trio of different shapes. There are variations you can do with that such as putting limes or green apples or other fruit in the vases and adding a spray of hydrangeas to the top. Or you can put watter and flowers floating in them with a candle on the top that floats.
Reply:well, you can always do candles or the beta fish in the vases since a lot of those fish are typically colored w/purple, blue, pinkish hues. how different do you want to get? good luck!
Reply:I'm doing framed photos (in cheap frames or even pictures on those little picture holders) of my fiance and I at various ages growing up, as well as pictures of us together.... maybe also with candles in a hurricane.
