Help, my hair color......?

I recently (2 days ago) put streaks in my hair that were supposed to be fuchsia, but now they are a really dark pink, almost red. I followed the directions, down to the letter. How can I get it to lighten to pink? I didn't put any styling products in my hair, and at first it was the color I wanted. I haven't washed it since, for fear of making it worse. What do I do? It's permanent, and my natural color that I dyed over is a light/medium brown with some darkish blond natural highlights. I really dont like the color!!! How do I get it to lighten? Thanks!

Help, my hair color......?
i don't understand???

the color was right you did nothing and it changed?

that is impossible.

there is no such thing as permanent "pink" hair color they have not figured that one out yet! so don't worry.

shampoo......whats the worst that can happen ? the color will fade ...which is what it sounds like you want...

In order to "lighten" in any type of hair color.,.....the smartest move is to " shampoo shampoo shampoo
Reply:from a professional point of view Please do your self a favor and go to a salon that specializes in hair color they will be able to help correct this. if you try to do it your self you can and will make it worse. DO NOT put another color or chemical in your hair with out a professional . But first try some clarifying shampoo and wash your hair with this you can pick this up at your local pharmacy this will wash some of the dark color out and it will get lighter . I have seen this too many time in my Carrier always remember your hair is your crown and glory take care of it

good luck

Reply:bleach your hair and it will make it lighter or just dye your hair some other color!!=)
Reply:Wash several times using ULTRA Dawn dish liquid,IT WILL TONE IT DOWN!!
Reply:I really dont think its that easy to do. But then again all colors like red... (pink, fuchsia) They are all related colors and they all fade easily. Don't know why but it just does. Even if you attempted to lighten the streaks that are "fuchsia" It would be hard because you would have to lighten your whole head or it will be uneven.

But never expect Colors such as that to Last. The bright red i got Last year stayed cool looking for about week then it got bad. Then the bright red i did this year turned into a natural red after a week. Thats why i just get blondes or browns now.
Reply:you could go over them, or get some sun on them, that always tends to lighten hair.
Reply:wash your hair. Shampoo fades hair dye.
Reply:you actually need to wash it once a day and it will eventually be as light as you want it, and next time put it in for less time.
Reply:let a pro help.
