Please help me buy suggesting a good, DEEP CANDY-APPLE RED LIPSTICK!?

Hi, the title says it all! I'm looking for something around this color:

Even if it's just a drug-store brand, that's fine with me, as I've tried all the pricey department store ones, and they all look like fuchsia!





I think that I actually saw a commercial for one (I can't think of the brand) and it had a little shimmer in it (not flat/dull), and the commercial went "From hugs to kisses, from Miss to Mrs." or something like that, and the lady was wearing red lipstick at her wedding. Any help here?

Choose a warmer red. I have had excellent luck with MAC Viva Glam I.





Also, perhaps try Prescriptives and chose a red from either the Y/O or R/O category.
Reply:get just kissed red from nyc, they sell it at wal-mart, it doesent fade, plus it hads 15 spf and is EXTREMELY mosturizing, plus its only 1$, get the curved tube, not the straight, the straight are very drying and caked looking
Reply:You are picking too blue a red. It's probably clashing with your skin tone and appearing bright pink...


You should look for a brown red instead. Loreal used to make Drumbeat Red, which would probably do well for you...

I don't know which department store brand you have tried, but it turned your lips fuschia?





I can recommend the best lines that have the best reds, and you can play from there:





Revlon (their Blackberry looks to be the closest)


NARS has tons of deep reds.


So does Makeup For Ever


Lola has lots of creamy reds


L'oreal has some deep reds in the Endless products.


Lancome has lots of reds.


Wet N'Wild has a good selection of colours too.
