What are good evening colors to wear?

i've got my prom soon and I dont want to wear black like most people. I've got a choice between like a wine red color, fuchsia and like baby pink, all in satin. What color do you think is best for the evening and for a golden brown complexion?

u should choose DARK colors for night parties.if ur skin is pale,then purple dress.if ur skin is pinkish then wear dark blue dress.
Reply:depends on your mood. i have the same complextion, but would probably choose the red cause its a favorite and pinks not my favorite.





but it depends. if you feel "princessy" go with the pink. if you feel _____ go with red, if you feel ____ go with the fushia.





but if you really dont care that much, flip coins or something..





but overall dont worry THAT much about it. i mean youll look great in any of those right? so which dress you wear isnt really going to effect your evening for better or for worse you know. so dont make yourself crazy if you start getting stressed about it lol





and of course, be safe and such. you dont want what shouldve been a fun night to be the worst day in your life. just thought id mention it cause sometimes it happens...

Yellows,oranges,lime green would all be unbelievable on you!! but if you have to choose between the colours you listed above im going to have to say fuchsia. Reply:i would have no idea about that but a darkish purple is always a good one but not to sure how golden brown will go with purple.
Reply:I's go with the red wine color if I were you. I'd say I'm pretty close to that complextion maybe a little lighter but if I had those choices that's what I'd choose. I don't really like wearing those bright colors for evening wear and it does nothing to flatter your complextion, just an opinion. I honestly think red wine will bring out your complextion because it's probably very beautiful.

Reply:If your skin is a nice and deep, the pink might look really pretty and springy on you. I would stay away from the deep burgundy; that reminds me of winter. For the fuschia, that is tough without seeing the dress. Lots of times the dress wears the person in such a powerful color.
