Are lambada fuchsias hardy?
I've grown fuchsias for years, you'd be surprised how hardy they are! it all depends where you live and your soil type really. no fuchsia likes overwintering in a pot unless trimmed back and left in a cool dark place, bit like dahlias really. I've found that if the leaves are of the 'spikey edge' varieties then they will generally overwinter outside provided its not too harsh. our soil is clay (Essex) and our winters are not too bad, we just cut them back to just above the soil (4") in November or December, we've had them still flowering on Christmas day! hedge your bets and take some 'tip' cuttings late in the season and get them growing on the windowsill over winter then you have fresh plants for spring!
